Kris Kobach’s legal blunders have cost Kansas taxpayers millions. When he was in office before, Kobach was forced to defend his unconstitutional actions in federal court.
It didn’t go well.
Kobach embarrassed himself and the State of Kansas and was held in contempt of court.
He was ordered to take remedial law classes.
And Kansas taxpayers were left to pay a $1.9 million dollar bill.
Since that embarrassing episode Kobach has run for Governor – and lost.
Then he ran for United States Senate – and lost.
Before he was Secretary of State he ran for Congress – and lost.
And before that he ran for the Kansas Senate – and lost.
While Kobach was running for political office, he served on the board and as the top attorney for an organization that was recently “indicted on allegations of money laundering, conspiracy, and fraud.“
Now Kris Kobach is running for Attorney General, and he vowed to “slowly and quietly” change the Kansas Supreme Court in order to eliminate abortion rights after the amendment was defeated in August 2022.
With a track record like this, Kansans can’t afford for Kris Kobach to represent them in the courtroom, because when he loses there, we all pay the price.
